Job summary

Intermountain Health's St James Hospital in Butte, MT seeks a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby, and NICU. The position is full-time with mostly night shifts and occasional days.

A BSN is required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care experience. Licensure in Montana, BLS, PALS, NRP, and fetal monitoring competencies are required within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• BSN degree within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN license.
• BLS certification on hire.
• PALS within 9 months of hire/transfer.
• NRP within 12 months of hire.
• AHWONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
