Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for St James Hospital in Butte, MT. This full-time role is mostly night shifts with some day shifts to meet unit staffing needs.

You will work in Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby and NICU, with prior OB NICU or L&D experience preferred. You will assess and plan patient care, coordinate with the care team, and supervise LPNs/CNAs while adhering to guidelines and best practices.

Qualifications

• BSN Degree* from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License
• BLS Certification upon hire
• PALS required within 9 months of hire
• NRP/Neonatal Resuscitation required within 12 months of hire
• AHWONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months of hire.
• National Certification in area of practice

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients psychological and physical needs
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind
• Communicate compassionately and effectively
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs
• Participate in clinical team conferences
