Job summary

Meritus Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Observation Unit on the Night shift. This full-time, on-site role runs 630pm–7am with a 72-hour biweekly schedule. A sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 is available for qualified applicants.

The 20-bed Telemetry Observation Unit on 2 South cares for patients meeting observation criteria, primarily cardiac-related but includes other conditions such as asthma and syncope. Strong nursing skills, teamwork, and a compassionate approach are essential.

Qualifications

• ASN required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of hospital experience required.
• MD nursing license or compact-licensure with Maryland verification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for Observation Unit patients in 23-hour care setting.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs in Night shift.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth handoffs.
