MercyOne Medical Group MercyOne Children’s Hospital OB Antepartum Unit is seeking a dedicated RN to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, 24/7 obstetrical setting. The role supports patients from 20 weeks gestation with various medical needs, in a seven-room triage area and a 10-bed inpatient unit, with ultrasound services available around the clock.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa.
• BLS certification within six weeks of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter training within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to patients across age groups, using a team-based approach.
• Perform admission, transfer, and discharge planning with appropriate delegation.
• Supervise support staff and ensure safety with IVs, monitors, and equipment.
