Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN for the Antepartum unit on the Night shift. You will provide skilled obstetric and newborn care, maintain professional competencies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support mothers and babies.

The role emphasizes safety, compassion, and the ability to adapt to float between Labor & Birth, Antepartum, and OB ED to meet patient care needs while upholding Mercy's standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds; stand/walk for long shifts.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Antepartum, Labor & Birth, and OB Emergency Department as needed.
• Maintain competencies across the obstetric/gyne unit and float per patient needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality maternal‑newborn care.

Education

RN licensure (current, in-state or compact)
