Job summary

Riverside Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor for the night shift to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care in Dayton, OH.

The role focuses on staff supervision, shift planning, training, and coordination with ancillary departments to maintain compliant, patient-centered care within a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current license as an RN in the state where the center is located.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing degree from an accredited college or university and be a graduate of an approved RN Program.
• Must have previous long term care experience. Previous supervisory/management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sufficient nursing staffing levels to deliver quality resident care.
• Assist in orientation and training of new employees and ongoing training.
• Develop and communicate shift assignments for nursing staff and monitor performance to ensure standards are met.
• Assist in scheduling as needed.
• Communicate with ancillary departments and nursing staff at shift change on resident conditions, needs and concerns.
• Ensure that all nursing staff follow established departmental policies and procedures.
• Keep leadership informed of staff, resident, family and center concerns and assist with solutions as needed.
• Maintain accurate census reporting and documentation in the EHR.
• Provide professional nursing care and lead the development of care plans and assessments.

Education

RN license (OH)

Nursing degree from an accredited college or university

Graduate of an approved RN Program
