Job summary

Athens, GA, is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Nephrology/Urology Unit from 7pm–7am with a sign-on bonus. The unit provides hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis training and works closely with the interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include nursing care across the lifecycle, adherence to policies, and coordinating care among staff to ensure quality outcomes. RN licensure in GA and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia or NLC/eNCL multistate license required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Function within organizational policies and procedures with professional growth and accountability.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and contribute to unit-based decisions for best patient outcomes.
