Job summary

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center is hiring a Night Shift RN for the Family Care Unit (Nursery). You will provide comprehensive nursing care to newborns during transition, stabilization, hospitalization, and discharge within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include monitoring maternal and fetal status, collaborating with OB providers, educating families, and advocating for patient-centered birth plans with evidence-based care. RN licensure in the appropriate state is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; licensure reinstatement rules apply if inactive for 5+ years.
• 1 year of RN work experience required.
• Level II NICU experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state required.

• Advocate for individualized, patient-centered birth plans while ensuring evidence-based care.

• Schedule: 7 pm - 7 am, Night Shift, Full-Time

What We’re Looking For

• Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED,required.
  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree,preferred.
  • **Graduate of an accredited school of nursing,required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

  • One-year of RN Work experience,required.
  • Seeking Level II NICU Experience to support our youngest Neonates,preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current RN licensure in appropriate state,required.
