Job summary

University of Kansas Health System's Bell Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) for the Mother/Baby unit (Unit 56). This night shift, full-time role provides professional nursing care, from assessment to evaluation, in a fast-paced academic medical center.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• ADN required; BSN must be completed within five years.
• 6 months to 2 years of Clinical Nurse experience.
• Licensed RN (KS or compact license) with BLS/BCLS within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with patients, families and health care team.
• Follow policies to ensure safe patient care.
• Performs unit-specific clinical competencies.
