Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Mother Baby unit in Lafayette, Indiana. The role involves caring for mothers and newborns in a 14-room unit with roughly 10 census daily, and requires adherence to clinical standards.

Shifts are Night 3x12-Hour with 12-hour shifts when on duty. Float within scope, weekend coverage every other weekend, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Previous charge experience is required.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 3 to 4.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for mother-baby and neonate patients.
• Perform newborn assessments and postpartum care.
• Discharge teaching and patient education.
• Assist with breastfeeding support and postpartum hemorrhage management.
• Follow safety protocols and infection control measures.
