Texas Health Dallas is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical-Surgical Urology/Genitourinary unit. This full-time night position involves 36 hours weekly (6:45p-7:15a) with rotating weekends and a focus on high-quality patient care on a 24-bed unit.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas RN licensure, and BCLS/ACLS on hire. CPI training within 90 days is expected, along with 1 year of RN experience or completion of a residency.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or higher; RN licensure in Texas.
• BCLS and ACLS required at hire.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year RN experience or nursing residency completed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient, plans care, intervenes as needed, and evaluates outcomes.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control into patient care.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts, inter-hospital transfers, and admissions/discharges.
