Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN for the Medical Pulmonary Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. Work the 7:00pm–7:30am night shift on a per diem level with required weekend availability.

You will assess patients, coordinate plans of care, communicate with the care team, and educate patients and families. Strong CPR certification and IL licensure are required; benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families and healthcare providers.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessed needs.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
• Maintains current nursing knowledge per standards, laws and regulations.
