Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MedSurg unit at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center. The role involves coordinating patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safety, and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care across the continuum.

Three 12-hour night shifts per week (1900–0730) with a $5/hour night shift differential. BLS for Healthcare Providers is required; on-unit Telemetry training will be provided. Includes every other holiday and a 4th weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program is required.
• Strong teamwork and patient-centered approach are essential.
• Telemetry interpretation is a nice-to-have skill; education is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and positive patient experience across the continuum.
