Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton in Milton, MA is hiring a Registered Nurse for night shift on the 2 North medical–surgical telemetry unit. Schedule is 36 hours per week across three 12‑hour shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Recent acute Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification by the American Heart Association before hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and implement care plans using the nursing process.
• Provide culturally appropriate care and utilize interpreters when needed.
• Coordinate health teaching for patient and family.
• Collaborate with other health care providers to ensure quality care.
• Maintain competencies and adhere to safety standards.
• Act as charge nurse when required.
• Participate in QA studies, meetings, and training programs.
• Assist with supplies and inventory as directed.
• Care for telemetry-monitored patients and various medical/surgical diagnoses.
