Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Night RN for our 3 South Medical-Surgical and Bariatrics unit. Join a supportive team with low RN-to-patient ratios and a Magnet-recognized environment focused on patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred.
• Licenses/Certification: RN state license; Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred; NRP preferred; PALS preferred.
• Experience: Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required.
• Knowledge/Abilities: knowledge of nursing care principles, age-appropriate care, confidentiality, medical terminology; strong verbal communication; triage skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify treatment plans as indicated by patient responses and conditions.
