Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Night Shift RN for the Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role covers the Medical/Surgical Unit-3F-Surgical Oncology with focus on high-quality patient care and adherence to ANA standards.

Requires 1+ year in med-surg/acute care and AZ RN licensure; formal BSN preferred, with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Responsibilities include data collection, care planning, medication administration, IV management, patient education, and collaboration with the care team to

Qualifications

• 1+ years med-surg or acute specialty nursing experience required
• RN experience for float positions required
• ASCs or Diploma in Nursing with RN licensure in AZ required
• BSN preferred by department
• Associate's or Diploma in Nursing required with 60-month BSN deadline

Responsibilities

• Collect health data systematically to inform diagnoses and care plans.
• Develop individualized care plans and maintain family-centered care.
• Administer medications and manage IV lines per standing orders and policies.
• Document patient progress and outcomes; monitor and adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, home care, diet, and activity.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Precept and mentor new staff and students on unit practices.
