Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg / Acute Rehab Unit. This full-time midnight shift includes weekend rotations and a sign-on bonus of $10,000. The unit is approximately 20 beds, designed for comprehensive medical and rehabilitative care.

Qualified applicants will be licensed in Michigan, certified in BLS, and graduate from an approved RN program. Night shift differential is 10% and there is a 5% market pay differential, with additional $2 weekend differential.

Qualifications

Licensed RN credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire/date of transfer.
BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association within 90 days of hire/date of transfer (or Certified Instructor).
Graduate of an approved professional RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

Coordinate a multi-disciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay, resource use, and quality outcomes.
Provide patient care respecting rights, dignity, values, and cultural preferences.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and self-care.
Administer medications, IVs, and blood products per policies.
Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
Collaborate with case managers to ensure referrals and discharge plans.
