Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg night shift. This role requires MA nursing licensure and BLS; ACLS as applicable. The position offers a 12.5-hour night shift (3), with a 24-hour weekly hours schedule and on-site work.

Qualifications

• License/Certification/Education required: current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN; ACLS certification is required if current, plus any unit-specific certifications.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency.
