Job summary

Community Health Network, Inc. is seeking an RN for the Med/Surg Oncology unit at Community East Hospital. The role involves night shifts (7p–7:30a), with rotation of every third weekend and holiday rotation. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team.

New hires will be supported by a unit-based educator, with onboarding tailored to learning needs. Oncology experience and a commitment to professional growth are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited nursing program, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• Required to become chemotherapy certified within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• The RN will provide patient care across the Med/Surg/Oncology continuum to achieve safe, cost-effective outcomes.
• Collaborate, delegate, negotiate and manage resources within the unit and care team.
• Support onboarding and development of nurses in the Med/Surg/Oncology unit and pursue ONC certification within one year.

Skills

Chemotherapy certification within 6 mo

Two years RN experience preferred

Education

NLN/CCNE/ACEN or NLN CNEA accredited nursing program or 3 years related nursing experience

Indiana RN license (NLC)
