Qualifications

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1 year minimum experience as a RN in an acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• RN prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises and evaluates patient teaching and the activities of the ancillary nursing personnel
• Maintain the standards of professional nursing
