Job summary

Mercy Health in Lima, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med-Surg Oncology & Inpatient Hospice at St. Rita’s Medical Center. This full-time night-shift role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to lead care planning for diverse medical and surgical patients.

New graduate RNs are welcome within 6 months of graduation. Candidates must have or be eligible for RN licensure, with BLS preferred at hire and ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing in Ohio.
• One year of RN experience required.
• BSN preferred; new grads welcome within 6 months of graduation.
• BLS certification preferred; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV meds, chart patient status.
• Evaluate and revise care plans to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per Mercy Health policies.
• Support patients in a safe healing environment.
