Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma from an Accredited Diploma Program or Associate or higher Degree in Nursing.
• Texas RN license or reciprocity within 90 days.
• Current BLS certification and ACLS within 90 days if on a monitored unit.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide quality patient care per nursing process.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and symptoms; report changes.
• Collect data from patients and history; support discharge planning.
• Collaborate with care teams to develop treatment plans and discharge summaries.
• Document in medical records accurately and via computer systems.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety; coordinate hand-offs.
• Ensure EMTALA-compliant patient transfers when applicable.
