Job summary
Ascension Health in Nashville is seeking a Night Shift, Full-time Registered Nurse to care for patients in a high-volume observation unit, focusing on short-stay discharges.

TN RN licensure and BLS are required; acute care experience is preferred and NIH Stroke Scale certification is a plus.
Qualifications
- BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
- RN credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing prior to hire date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
- 6 months of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification may be obtained.

- Care for patients with acute respiratory conditions in a high-volume observation unit.
- Manage high turnover patients with short stays and safe discharge.
- Perform rapid clinical assessments, administer breathing treatments, and monitor stable patients.
