Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN, seeks an experienced RN for night shift, full-time. You will deliver skilled nursing care to adults with complex GI and vascular needs, monitor patient status, and collaborate with the care team to drive recovery milestones.

Responsibilities include interpreting orders, coordinating care transitions, and educating patients and families for a smooth home-going process. A TN RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date
• Registered Nurse credentialed by TN Board of Nursing
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct nursing care for adults with GI and vascular needs.
• Communicate real-time patient conditions to the care team for swift decisions.
• Translate physician orders into clinical actions and milestones.
• Lead discharge planning and education for a safe transition home.
