Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital in Southfield, MI is seeking an experienced RN to provide leadership in Med Surg Nephrology Care Unit, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care on night shifts.

The role requires BSN preferred, Michigan RN license, strong communication, and ability to coordinate care, with shifts 7pm–7:30am, 3-12 hour shifts, every other weekend and rotating holidays. Sign-on bonus up to $7,500; benefit eligible.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver compassionate patient care following the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and teaching.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to the health care team.
• Identify and implement solutions for variances from patient goals.
