Job summary

Lawrence County Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time night shift Registered Nurse for the Med Surg team. You will conduct patient assessment, treatment, and education to support recovery. The hospital offers evening/night shift differentials and an additional weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Excellent bedside manners and clinical judgment.
• ACLs, PALS, BLS required.
• Strong assessment, planning and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient's condition and assess needs to provide optimal care.
• Observe and interpret symptoms, communicate to physician.
• Perform routine procedures (BP, injections) and charting.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Maintain hygiene and safety in facilities and equipment.
• Foster supportive environment for patients and families.
• Pursue ongoing education and maintain competencies.
