Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 35900 Atrium Health Cleveland unit (Nursing Med Surg: Clinical Decision Unit). This full-time role is 36 hours per week with a night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM, offering a competitive pay range of $38.20 to $57.30 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have an RN license, preferably a BSN, and about one year of clinical nursing experience, with strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills to support patient care,

Qualifications

Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state license to practice.
Typically requires 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
Upholds a culture of safety and ensures timely EHR documentation.
May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
