Job summary

Landmark Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit on the Night shift (Part Time 24hrs, 12 HR - Night shift). The role requires an RN license and current BLS/ACLS credentials with a preference for acute care experience and BSN.

The RN will deliver safe patient care across the nursing process, provide patient and family teaching, and collaborate with physicians to respond to changes in clinical condition.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS certificate preferred.
• Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Maintain standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results.
