Ascension Saint Joseph in Chicago, IL is seeking a Night Shift Full-Time Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive direct nursing care on a medical-surgical unit. You will execute physician orders, implement evidence-based care plans, monitor patient conditions, and document changes accurately.

You will coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, manage complex treatment plans, and lead discharge planning from admission through transition to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer (AHA/ARC accepted).
• Illinois RN licensure required prior to hire.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or active professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive direct nursing care on a medical-surgical unit by executing physician orders, implementing evidence-based care plans, and precisely monitoring and documenting acute changes in patient conditions.
• Serve as the primary clinical coordinator across multidisciplinary teams to streamline communication and manage complex treatment plans.
• Coordinate comprehensive discharge planning from admission to transition in collaboration with case management and healthcare team.
