Job summary

Reedsburg Area Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for the Med Surg Department. Schedule is 36 hours per week with 7p-7A shifts, every third weekend and rotating holidays. The RN will coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, deliver direct patient care, and support families per the care plan.

Applicants should have an accredited nursing degree, Wisconsin RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within one year. Advanced certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
• BLS certified, PALS and ACLS within one year of hire.
• Advanced Certification preferred.
• Meets health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary team members to promote health and continuity of care.
• Provide direct nursing care to individuals and support families as directed by the plan of care.
• Communicate with patients, families and team to share up-to-date information and evaluate responses.
• Care for a patient population including newborns to geriatrics.
