Kettering Health Washington Township in Centerville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in Labor and Delivery. You will use the nursing process and collaborate with a diverse team to provide safe, high-quality care.

Candidates must hold Ohio RN licensure; BSN preferred within five years; BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS as required by unit. This role requires cross-training to another maternity area and supports a not-for-profit health system serving southwest Ohio.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if a new grad.
• BSN preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• Nurse returning after 5+ years may need refresher course.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with other health care providers.
• Maintain accountability for professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
• Act as a patient advocate for safe care, including delegation of care and participation in performance and practice improvement activities.
• Delivery of nursing care within the Kettering Health Network reflects the organization's missions, values and nursing philosophy.
