Job summary

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas is seeking an RN Manager of the Critical Care Unit to provide leadership for the unit. The Nursing Manager plans, organizes, coordinates, monitors and evaluates patient care while maintaining 24-hour accountability.

The role includes fiscal and human resource management, risk management and program development, and the Manager participates in strategic planning and ensures high-quality care in a busy CCU environment with a focus on evidence-based

Qualifications

Current licensure in Kansas as an RN.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification.
ACLS verification within policy timeframe.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Three years supervisory experience.
Able to apply nursing process, administer treatments, interpret tests, plan care, collaborate with providers and educate patients.
Effective communication skills and computer literacy.
Ability to multi-task, delegate and prioritize.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating patient care.
Oversee fiscal, human resources, risk management and operational functions.
