Job summary

Oaknoll Retirement Residence in Iowa City, IA, is seeking RNs and LPNs for our healthcare team on the 11pm–7:30am third shift. Part-time hours are available, with some holidays required.

Nurses will provide resident-centered care, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and perform procedures including IV therapy, medications, suctioning, and catheter care. Starting rates are $36.50/hour for RNs and $30.50/hour for LPNs, with a $2.00/hour overnight shift differential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school or college of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Valid nursing license in Iowa.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents whose care requires professional skills and coordination with an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform specialized nursing procedures including IV therapy, medications, suctioning, and catheter care.
• Observe and record residents' progress and inform physicians of significant changes.
• Plan with and direct other nursing personnel in providing daily cares and enforcing care policies.
