Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Sanford Health provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process and collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Cares for residents across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed or unlicensed staff, while adhering to state practice rules and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license with State Board of Nursing or multistate license if in NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel within scope.
