Job summary

The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a talented RN to join our dedicated nursing team. This role involves coordinating care, leading shifts, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support resident well-being. Night shift opportunities available.

Qualifications

• RN must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• MS/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice in Florida.
• Nursing Experience with clinical competence and leadership skills.
• Understanding of aging process.

Responsibilities

• Assists in defining, maintaining, and interpreting standards of practice.
• Performs required skills (assessment, intervention) according to guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Participates in interdisciplinary committees that influence or determine policies affecting nursing practice.
• Follow facility procedures for admitting residents and documentation.
• Makes rounds and ensures staff receive reports, assignments, and break times.
• Develops care plans and revises them as needed.
• Monitors medication administration and reports incidents.
• Transcribes physician orders timely and ensures implementation.
• Assures stock levels of medications and supplies at all times.
