Job summary

Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our night shift to provide high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive skilled nursing environment. The RN will supervise LPNs and CNAs, perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

The role operates on the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with full-time status.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care per physician orders and individual care plans.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and wound care as ordered.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs during the shift.
• Respond quickly to resident needs and emergencies; document accurately.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Educate residents and families regarding care plans and treatments.
• Follow infection prevention and control protocols; participate in QAPI initiatives.
