MUSC Health is hiring an RN for 36 hours per week, 7p-7a, with every other weekend and no call. The role emphasizes nursing processes, leadership of the care team, and patient-family centered care at MUSC. Eligible nurses receive state health benefits, a pension, and educational support.

Minimum qualifications include a BSN preferred, SC/compact RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience. This is an employee position on the MedSurg 6th Floor (FMC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• RN licensure by SC Board of Nursing or compact state.
• BLS certification required (AHA/Red Cross).
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Provide patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural needs.
• Maintain safe, therapeutic environment and professional conduct.
• Participate in professional practice model and governance for quality care.
• Coordinate care delivery using care management principles to improve outcomes.
• Promote professional growth and accountability within the team.
