Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and coordinate education, referrals, and follow-up as needed.

The role requires a current RN license, BLS certification, and adherence to professional standards. BSN is preferred and may be required within four years. Ongoing documentation and teamwork are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, social, and psychological status and collect information from the care team.
• Plan individualized care with patient and family involvement and coordinate education and referrals as needed.
• Implement care by directing the interdisciplinary team and managing time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust the plan of care as outcomes are met or change.
• Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ethical standards, document accurately, and comply with licensure requirements.
