Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a registered nurse in Labor & Delivery for a full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) with every third weekend. The role emphasizes independent judgment, exceptional patient care, and collaboration within a high-volume academic health system in Michigan.

The ideal candidate holds MI RN licensure, BLS certification, and prefers 2+ years in Labor & Delivery. Training will align with hospital standards and patient safety protocols.

Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire date.
BLS provider credentialed from the American Heart Association obtained within 90 days of hire date or as an instructor.
2 years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

Provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing care to patients.
Demonstrate clinical competence, compassion, and customer service orientation.
Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while focusing on outcomes and cost-consciousness.
