Job summary

Advocate Health Care’s Labor and Delivery unit at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC is seeking a registered nurse with 6 months RN experience to join a 36-hour weekly night shift schedule (7pm–7am) and participate in weekend/holiday rotations. The unit is Magnet designated and supports high-risk pregnancies with 24/7 physician coverage.

Responsibilities include delivering evidence-based nursing care, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring safety in a high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
