Job summary

Mount Carmel Grove City Labor and Delivery/Mother Infant is seeking an RN to provide compassionate care for mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum. You will work in a 9-room labor area with dedicated mother-infant care, and you’ll support bonding, breastfeeding, and discharge planning in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients using evidence-based practice.
• Administer medications under provider guidance and organizational policies.
• Assist in emergency situations.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and procedures.
• Document assessments and outcomes per standards and policies.
• Provide care with accountability for team-delivered services.
