Mount Carmel Health System in Grove City, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. You will provide patient-centered care across labor, delivery, and post partum, using the Nursing Process and collaborating with the care team.

This role requires Ohio RN license and BLS/CPR; duties include assessment, medication administration, patient education, and documentation. The unit features nine labor rooms, four triage rooms, and 18 mother-infant beds; Mount Carmel Grove City offers

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as an RN in Ohio.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients.
• Assist provider with patient assessments, examinations and treatments.
• Administer medications under provider direction.
• Assist in emergency situations.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and diagnoses.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes.
