Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) in Lancaster, OH for a night shift position. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, and supervise coworkers while delegating tasks per policy.

Your responsibilities include documenting care, teaching patients and families, administering medications, and notifying physicians of changes in status. A strong team-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certificate is required.
• CPR certification is a must.
• Previous Registered Nursing experience is preferred.
• Associate degree in nursing is required; Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for each patient according to the nursing process.
• Document the nursing process/pathway thoroughly, accurately, and legibly.
• Provide education to patients and families/significant others from admission through discharge.
• Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
• Implement physician orders and notify the physician of pertinent observations and changes in patient status.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available for patient care, reporting any malfunctions.
