Job summary

PIH Health Whittier Hospital is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery nurse to provide direct patient care, conduct assessments, and education for mothers and newborns. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop plans of care and evaluate outcomes.

The role requires a California RN license and two years in Labor and Delivery, with certifications in AFM, ACLS, BLS, and NRP. Night shifts with a $7 shift differential are available at this location.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• Two years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• AFM, ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including assessment, plan of care, education, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Coordinate the delivery of care provided by other care team members and disciplines.
• Maintain patient flow and ensure smooth delivery of care during shifts.
