Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Intermediate Care Unit on the night shift in Arlington Heights, IL. This per diem role requires availability for 7:00pm to 7:30am shifts, including weekends, with orientation during the first week.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
