United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia seeks an RN Level I for inpatient care. This role delivers nursing care using the nursing process, with professional accountability, independent judgment, and collaboration with the care team to achieve quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include modifying plans based on data, applying evidence-based practice, delegating, educating families, and ensuring safe, ethical care. Shift is 6pm–6:30am; 36 hours weekly; non-exempt status.

Formación

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state where services will be provided.
• Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire date.
• One year of registered nursing experience.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Modifies patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient’s needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Provides education based on learning needs and involvement of family.
• Promotes effective communication among interprofessional team members and healthcare consumers.
• Engages in activities related to nurse sensitive indicators to enhance quality of care.
• Participates in continuing professional development.
