UHC United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting, using the nursing process, with accountability for care delivered by self and by others to whom care is delegated.

The role requires novic e-level knowledge to care for patients across the life span, assess data for age-specific needs, maintain patient safety, document care, and participate in ongoing education and ethical practice per ANA standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license issued by the state or eNLC multi-state license.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Less than 12 months of RN experience.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates safety and continuity of care using documentation, handoff tools/processes.
• Creates plan of care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnoses, intervention, evaluation.
• Identifies patient safety concerns and uses appropriate resources.
• Provides education based on patient learning needs and preferences.
• Assesses and documents patient data to inform care for age-specific needs.
• Leads effective teaching and uses evidence-based nursing practices.
