Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Madisonville, KY is hiring a Registered Nurse to care for an adult client in their own home. You’ll plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, administer meds, and coordinate with prescribers to adapt to changing needs.

This full-time role offers hourly pay of $45-$48 with weekly paychecks, plus strong benefits including health/dental/vision, HSA, PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license for Kentucky.
• Current Health Certificate as required by contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray on file.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for adults in home care.
• Initiates plan of care and coordinates revisions with prescriber as patient needs change.
• Delivers therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnoses and goals.
• Responds to changes in patient condition and communicates with physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effects.
• Reviews care plans and educates on care coordination and discharge needs.
