Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. in the Hartford HealthCare system seeks a registered nurse to provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

You will communicate changes in a patient's condition promptly and ensure age-appropriate care across the life span. The role requires CT licensure, BLS/ACLS upon hire or during orientation, and NCLEX within 90 days for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current CT licensure.
• ACLS and BCLS certification required on hire or within orientation.
• New Graduates must pass the NCLEX within 90 days of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinate patient care by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate patient's clinical condition and respond quickly to changes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development for age-appropriate care.
• Promote nursing practice and report to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
