Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. in the Hartford HealthCare Greater Manchester Region seeks a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient-centered care using the nursing process.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, assess and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, and promote age-appropriate care across the lifespan. CT RN license with BCLS/ACLS is required; critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and have and maintain current a Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
• Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or within orientation period.
• Critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs population-specific comprehensive assessments and re-assessments of the patient's condition and care needs.
• Assess and reassess pain and educate patient and family regarding pain management.
• Develops and revises individualized plans of care and collaborates with other disciplines as needed.
• Follows the five medication rights and reduces potential for medication errors.
• Documents nursing process and responses to care in a timely manner.
